The Salon at the College of West Anglia King's Lynn campus has raised £130 for the Queen Elizabeth Hospital's Excel Appeal.
Students offered two-hour hairdressing sessions, including a hand and arm massage, to clients as a part of their charity fundraiser event. The Excel Appeal, is aiming to raise £50,000 for specialist care equipment for elderly patents at the QEH.
Lisa Gallacher, course director for hairdressing, organised the event. She said: 'The event was very successful.
'Our students worked really hard and clients seemed to thoroughly enjoy their services. As a department, we engage in a great deal of charitable acts. It was nice to be able to support our local hospital and hopefully we can do similar events in the future.'
The Salon is open to the public as well as students during the week. To book an appointment, call 01553 815333 or go online to cwa.ac.uk/thesalon.
