A public consultation on how to shape NHS care in the Norwich area closes this weekend.

The consultation, which runs until Sunday, September 16, is a chance for members of the public to have their say on how health chiefs can plan local health improvements – for example helping older people to stay safe and well at home rather than go to hospital, or reducing childhood obesity.

It is being run by NHS Norwich Clinical Comm-issioning Group (CCG), which has been working with local councils, voluntary groups and patient groups to draw up a series of priorities.

Dr Cath Robinson, pictured, co-chairman of NHS Norwich CCG, said: 'There is much we would like to do to help people stay healthier and improve NHS services for our patients in the Norwich area. We cannot change everything at once so we need to work out what our priorities should be.'
