The region's mental health trust has said it is on 'very high alert' for another cyber attack.
The Norfolk and Suffolk Foundation Trust (NSFT) went unaffected by the ransomware attack on the NHS earlier this month, which saw appointments cancelled and ambulances diverted as up to 40 hospital trusts became infected.
Many trusts who were affected had not been installed a recent Microsoft update.
Speaking at a trust board meeting on Thursday, Leigh Howlett, director of strategy and resources, said the NSFT was largely unaffected but that it scans its systems 'continuously'.
'The message that is coming in from central government is to expect more of this,' she said. 'We are on very high alert for cyber attacks.'
Earlier in the meeting, Michael Scott, NSFT chief executive, said the trust handled the attack in an 'exemplary fashion'.
'We had updated software and people were nonetheless very cautious,' he said.
