'He would go out of his way to help anyone' - that is what friends have said in tribute to James Criddle, who sadly died in an industrial incident on Monday.
Mr Criddle, 29, of Watton, was working at Baldwin Skip Hire in Besthorpe when he was involved in a fatal accident, which is now being investigated by the police and the Health and Safety Executive.
Friends said he was a kind, loving man, who cared for his girlfriend Holly Eagling, and young daughter, Lexi.
John Rudling, a good friend of Mr Criddle's, said he was a good-natured person who would go out of his way to help anyone in need.
Mr Rudling said: 'Me and my family grew up with James.
'We all used to live in the same street and all used to hang out.
'He was so loved by all he came across was always such a smiling young gentleman would always go out his way to help anyone.'

Mr Copplestone said: 'You couldn't have asked for a better friend.
'He was always there for his girlfriend and his daughter and he always took care of his family and friends.'
Mr Criddle attended Wayland Community High School in Watton, now Wayland Academy.
He had a love of racing banger cars, and was a regular at Swaffham Raceway.

Ms Carter said: 'He was the most caring person you could ever ask for.
'He would help anyone who needed help.'
Emergency services were called to the skip hire premises off Silver Street just after 1pm on Monday to reports that a man had suffered traumatic injuries.
An ambulance crew and two ambulance officers were sent to the scene as well as the East Anglian Air Ambulance.
A Facebook page has been set up in tribute to Mr Criddle called In memory of Jimmy.
Friends are organising a special banger car racing meet in his memory.
