Two people have been released under police investigation after being found in possession of multiple cannabis plants in Lowestoft.

Officers from Suffolk Police's drugs team executed a warrant under the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971 at the address on High Street on Tuesday, August 29.

Inside the property they located a number of cannabis plants, although the haul was not thought to be excessive.

A 28-year-old woman and a 41-year-old man were arrested on suspicion of producing a controlled substance and taken to Great Yarmouth police investigation centre for questioning.

The pair have now been released under investigation pending further enquiries.
