A ladies black leather handbag containing cash, cards and personal items, has been stolen from a hall in Beccles.

The items were stolen from a table inside the Quaker Hall in Smallgate around 4pm on Friday, October 28.

A woman described as white, aged late 30s to early 50s, around 5ft 7ins tall, with long dark hair, wearing all dark clothing, and a man, described as white, of similar age, also wearing dark clothing, entered the hall. Moments later, when the couple left, it was discovered the handbag was missing.

They both spoke with Irish accents.
