Live music will take centre stage once more as a popular Lowestoft pub hosts a charity Halloween bonanza.

People of all ages will gather at The Mariners Rest in Lowestoft as six bands perform throughout the day of live music on Saturday, October 27 for the Care And Real Lovin' Halloween event.

Darren Steger-Lewis, a trustee of Care And Real Lovin', and co-organiser of CARLfest – a four day festival held each year which is dedicated to continuing the legacy of Dean 'Carl' Lawson, who died in 2012 from a rare type of cancer – said: 'Care And Real Lovin' are pleased to announce the return of Halloween on Fire!

'The Mariners Rest, Lowestoft will offer a day of live music from 4.30pm on Saturday, October 27 with food and refreshments on sale, a charity raffle, fancy dress competition and much more. The event is now in its 13th year and will once again be raising funds for Care And Real Lovin' Charitable Foundation - helping people in Norfolk and Suffolk who are suffering financially due to ill-health.'

The bands performing are The Jimi Luffman Experience, Promise Theory, Same Ol' Devil, Zipfels Barber, Like Optimists and Everybody's Dead Dave.
