A new art exhibition in West Norfolk will explore the effects of climate change and the theory of time.

The Theories of the Earth exhibition at the GroundWork Gallery, in King's Lynn, sees young artists Wayne Binitie, Flora Bowden and Shaun Fraser come together with established King's Lynn artist Kabir Hussain to explore the theory of deep time and the elemental and physical matter of the earth.

Stone, peat, bronze and ice provide the core material of the show through the use of glass and bronze sculptures, drawings, photography, video and audio installations and jewellery.

On the works of Kabir Hussain, a gallery spokesman said: 'His responses to landscape form slow unfolding drama both of his relationships to the earth and of his perceptions of time and the changing landscape.'

The exhibition at the GroundWork Gallery in Purfleet Street begins on Saturday, October 13 until Sunday, December 16.
