An international festival has exploded into life in a coastal town.
More than 50,000 people are expected to flock to Great Yarmouth this weekend as the popular Out There International Festival of Circus and Street Arts transforms the streets.
Crazy street arts, comedy and world-class circus acts are showcasing their talents at the festival which celebrates all things weird and wonderful.
The free event takes centre stage across Yarmouth town centre and seafront today (Saturday) and tomorrow (Sunday) with more than 100 performers from 10 countries – including France, Spain, New Zealand, and the UK – among the performers.
This afternoon (Saturday) a world juggling and clowning premiere of Filibuster - by Tom Gaskin – will be performed at 2.25pm and 4.55pm, with family theatre and UK premieres also being showcased.
And the big headline event will take centre stage tonight (Saturday) with a world premiere 'set to turn the town blue!' according to organisers.
The Saturday Night Spectacular showcases French street arts titans Générik Vapeur, who will be returning to Great Yarmouth to collaborate with the UK's Gorilla Circus as they perform Bivouac. The procession starts at 8.10pm in St George's Park.
