A 30-YEAR-OLD man from Great Yarmouth has been arrested on suspicion of murder.
Detectives investigating the death of Ian Church, 40, arrested a man today (Monday, June 25).
Police were called at about 1.55am on Saturday, May 5 to a disturbance outside the Bricklayers Arms pub on Nelson Road Central, Great Yarmouth.
Officers arrived to find a 40-year-old man with serious head injuries and he died two days later at the James Paget hospital.
Todd Esherwood, 24, of Saxon Road, Great Yarmouth and 29-year-old Tony Smith, of Sidney Close, Great Yarmouth, both charged with grievous bodily harm with intent, will next appear at Norwich Crown Court for a Plea and Case Management Hearing on Friday, August 10.
A third man arrested in connection with the incident, a 43-year-old, remains on bail pending further enquiries.
