Norfolk's Police and Crime Commissioner Lorne Green has met with residents over a cup of coffee in Great Yarmouth as part of his pledge to be visible and accessible to all.

He was at Costa Coffee on Thursday to hold a street surgery to reach out to people and provide an opportunity to share their views, to discuss any concerns they may have and find out more about his role.

Mr Green also walked around the centre and met people including business owners and shop staff.

He said: 'It was a pleasure to meet with so many people at Costa who had a variety of matters to discuss. 'Community engagement is a key part of my role as Norfolk's PCC and a part I particularly enjoy.

'I will be holding surgeries across the county so long as I am the PCC and I look forward to meeting with as many people as frequently as possible to hear their views on policing in Norfolk. I love that part of the job.'
