Great Yarmouth-based energy industry specialists 3sun Group has launched a new inspection division.
The new division, 3sun Inspection Services, will provide customers in the oil and gas sector with a full range of equipment inspection and testing services. It will have a team of 14 full-time field inspectors and be headed by Jody Potter, who has been appointed inspection services manager.
Graham Hacon, managing director at 3sun Group, said: 'Establishing 3sun Inspection Services marks a major milestone in our strategic plans to expand our oil and gas operations and is an important development for us.'
3sun Group has recently opened a new base in Aberdeen and a further operational centre in Bergen, Norway. Turnover is predicted to double to �15m by the end of this year.
