A Gorleston pub is raising a glass to success after finding itself back in CAMRA's Good Beer Guide.

The New Entertainer is ranked among 11 in the Great Yarmouth area whose beer has been judged good enough to be included in the national handbook.

Mark Beare, pubs campaigns officer for East Norfolk CAMRA (Campaign for Real Ale), said the area had fared well this year.

He said: 'Over the last two years East Norfolk has had an increase of 120pc of pubs included in the CAMRA Good Beer Guide. The 2016 guide had only five pubs listed for our area but the 2018 book has 11.'

Other pubs included were: The Bell at St Olaves, The Oddfellows Arms, The Dock Tavern, The Entertainer Freehouse all in Gorleston, The Red Herring, The Barking Smack, Tombstone Saloon Bar, and The Mariners all in Great Yarmouth and The Cock in Cantley, The Crown in Catfield and The Kings Head in Martham.
