An outdoor learning centre in north Norfolk will be opening its doors this summer to celebrate the local area and environment.

The free 'Glad About the Glaven' event will be held in the grounds of Holt Hall and will include guided walks, stalls, creative activities, and a chance to learn about the Glaven's plants, birds and wildlife. Local and national environmental organisations will also be on hand to help and people will have the opportunity to learn about volunteering and sustainable choices.

Locally grown produce and hand-made crafts will be available to buy and there will be a chance to explore holistic health and find out about different therapies and products.

Entry to Holt Hall will be free between noon-5pm and food and drink will be available. Parking is 1 per car but will be no fee for people arriving by foot or bicycle.

The event takes place on July 21 and is hosted by the Friends of Holt Hall.
