A 13-year-old girl appeared before Lowestoft magistrates today charged with robbing two men and possessing an offensive weapon.

The teenager, who cannot be named for legal reasons, is accused of robbing a 19-year-old man and a 30-year-old man in St Margarets Road, Lowestoft, in the early hours of October 1.

She is alleged to have robbed the 19-year-old man of his wallet, a lighter and a tobacco pouch, and robbed the 30-year-old man of a bank card and mobile phone.

The girl is also charged with possession of an offensive weapon – a metal pole – and attempted grievous bodily harm on the 19-year-old.

She is also charged with two assaults and causing actual bodily harm to three other people on October 1.

The teeanager's case was adjourned until next Tuesday at Lowestoft Magistrates' Court.
