BY horseback, by limo, by motorbike, by vintage car the guests kept arriving.
One even arrived in an armoured tank, whilst for others it was a case of sartorial elegance and stretch limos.
Some had cadged a lift in a Roller, others a Renault. Some had chauffeurs who bore remarkable similarities to their parents whilst one joyous couple arrived in a Ford Prefect adorned with red ribbon.
It was an evening few would forget, a coming of age spectacular that Thomas Clarkson Academy of Wisbech now does so well and so memorably.
Families, friends and those who might have been there last year or may be there next (Year 11 were the credentials needed for admittance plus of course a £12.50 a head ticket) lined the entrance to Elme Hall Hotel, Wisbech.
Organisers had invited guests to embrace the theme Hollywood and offered the colours of red, black and gold too which was taken up with gusto by the revellers.

At the end of a gruelling period of exams, it was time for these happy students to let down their hair and celebrate.
