A romantic trend from the City of Love has made its way from the River Seine to the East Coast of Norfolk.
Two unknown visitors have made their way to the Cromer pier and fastened a personalised padlock to the pier's railings.
Norfolk's 'Cromeo and Juliet' have the intials 'N' and 'H' and may have met in 2016, as the lock describes.
Another padlock can be found on the bridge, however it is unclear whether or not this is a love lock.
The practise of locking padlocks to a bridge began in Paris, where couples would lock their initials to the Pont des Arts before throwing the key into the river below.
However, in June 2015 these locks were removed from the bridge as the railings were beginning to buckle under the weight.
Although only a couple of locks are currently on the bridge, this could be a trend for the future.
