Four fire crews were called to an overheated engine onboard a boat in Hoveton, a Broads Authority spokesman said.
Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service was called to Lower Street to reports of a boat fire at about 3.30pm today.
A Broads Authority spokesman said that there were no reports of injuries.
A spokesman said: 'It was an overheated engine on a boat.'
The incident was closed at about 4.40pm.
