Police and fire crews rescued a stranded motorist had a notorious flooding blackspot on Friday evening.
Heavy rain showers caused water to collect under the railway bridge in Station Road, Wymondham shortly before 7pm, making the road virtually impassable and causing one car to become stuck.
Firefighters from Wymondham joined police in helping to release the vehicle after finding the occupants perched on the roof.
The road was closed for over an hour while the rescue took place and a police spokesman said only 4x4s were able to pass through the flood water.
Earlier this month, firefighters had to rescue a family who had become stuck in their car in floods under the same bridge after water poured off neighbouring roads and gathered under the bridge.
