Tom Thompson former BA Fine Art Student at the College of West Anglia is holding his first solo art exhibition at Greyfriars Art Space.
Transitio Momentum is a narrative about life, consisting of a series of Polaroid images shot over a period of six months. These images were then retaken using a 35mm camera to create film negatives in order to project these images on to ceramic spheres using photographic emulsion. These images interlink with a number of coloured spheres representing days of the week. The installation consists of a hundred and eighty spheres and occupies one wall of Greyfriars Art Space.
The exhibition is at Greyfriars Art Space, 43 St. James Street, Kings Lynn, PE30 5BZ until Saturday 10 December. Open 10am – 4.30pm, Tuesday – Saturday.
