Fireworks worth �2,000 stolen in Watton

Fireworks worth around �2,000 have been stolen from a business in Watton.

Thieves are thought to have used an axe to smash their way into a metal container at Watton Fireworks, in Norwich Road, some time last night.

Business owner Bob Fairbrother, of Hockwold near Thetford, found the damage this morning (Tuesday) and said the mobile office at the site had been broken into on the previous two nights, although nothing had been taken.

Anyone with information about the theft is asked to call Norfolk Police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
