Firefighters tackle plant machinery blaze in Ernest Gage Avenue at Longwater, Norwich

Firefighters have been called to a blaze involving plant machinery near Norwich.

Crews from Hethersett, Sprowston, Earlham and Carrow stations were sent to the fire at a commercial property in Ernest Gage Avenue, Longwater, at 7.42pm today (Wednesday, June 21). The service's aerial ladder platform was also there.

The fire was put out using main and hose reel jets and crews then used a thermal image camera to check for hot spots.
