FIREFIGHTERS from Lowestoft tackled a hedge blaze in the town.
A crew from Lowestoft station were called out just before 1am this morning (Sunday) to reports of the hedge on fire in Fir Lane.
They arrived on the scene at 1.04am and brought the blaze under control by 1.12am using a hose reel. A spokesman for the Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service said the crew was back on station by 1.53am.
