Firefighters quickly dealt with a blaze, which started in a fuse box at a flat in Lowestoft.
Four fire crews from Lowestoft were called to the blaze at a flat in Waveney Road, after fears were raised that people may be trapped in the building.
The fire started in a fuse box of the flat in Waveney Road at about 5.35pm. Two fire crews were initially called out from Lowestoft South fire station, but another two, from Lowestoft South and Lowestoft North were then called out because of fears that people were trapped.
Crews quickly tackled the blaze and once all the residents had been accounted for, the incident was declared under control at 6.27pm.
