The police and fire service were called to deal with an altercation and a car fire at a traveller's site.

Fire crews from Acle and Great Yarmouth attended a car fire in Gapton Hall Road, Great Yarmouth just after 8am on Tuesday.

Firefighters wore breathing apparatus and used hose reel jets to extinguish the blaze, and were on the scene for about 15 minutes.

Police were then called as there was an altercation going on between a group of three to four people.

The group was a mix of men and women according to a police spokesman.
