TWO fire crews tackled a blaze in a house today.
A crew from Lowestoft South fire station and another crew from North Lowestoft were called out at 8.49am this morning (Wednesday) following reports of a house fire at Jenkins Green in north Lowestoft.
A spokesman for the brigade said: 'Firefighters were in attendance by 8.59am and arrived to find a fire in the bedroom on the first floor of the house.' Crews quickly fought the flames, and the spokesman added: 'The property was ventilated and the incident was under control by 9.45am.'
