Fire crews have tackled a blaze at a house in Belton

Emergency services were called to the village, near Great Yarmouth, shortly after 5.30pm last night.

It is understood that a fire broke out in the lounge on the ground floor of a property on Rosedale Gardens.

Firefighters from Gorleston and Great Yarmouth attended and used hose reel jets to put out the flames.

A spokesman for the fire service said crews were on scene for less than an hour.

The ambulance service said it assessed two patients for smoke inhalation at the scene but they did not require hospital treatment.
