Firefighters tackled a fire in the open in Gorleston in the middle of last night.
A fire crew from Gorleston were called at 1.21am to a blaze on Ash Green.
One appliance from the station responded and used hose reel jets to extinguish the blaze which started in a bin.
The incident is being treated as a deliberate ignition and the police have been informed.
