Firefighters helped to free a horse that had got stuck in a water filled ditch in north Suffolk.
Three crews from Lowestoft were called out at 9.25am this morning (Friday) following reports of 'a horse stuck in a water filled ditch' on Beccles Road in Barnby.
A brigade spokesman said: 'The first crew were on scene at 9.39am to find a vet already in attendance. Crews worked to release the horse which was achieved by 10.51am.'
The fire crews remained at the scene with the horse in case further lifting was required.
