Firefighters free person from car after crash

Firefighters freed a person from a car following a crash.

Crews from Carrow and Long Stratton attended the scene on Cargate Lane, in Saxlingham Thorpe, at around 11.50pm.

A man driving a black Mercedes went off the road into some trees yesterday.

Emergency services were called and fire officers used hydraulic rescue equipment to help the trapped person.

There was minor damage to the car and the man suffered minor injuries.
