Firefighters were called to put out a 'deliberate' rubbish fire on the north Norfolk coast.

One appliance from the Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service was called at about 10.40pm yesterday (Thursday) to reports that a bin had been set on fire at Beach Road, Wells-next-the-Sea.

A spokesman for the service said a crew from Wells attended to the fire, which was reported as a 'deliberate ignition', and it was put out within minutes using hose reel jets.

No one was injured.
