Firefighters were called earlier this morning to a gas cooker fire at The Anchor pub, Walberswick.
Crews from Halesworth and Wrentham attended the pub, located on The Street, at 10.02am and by 10.27am the fire had been brought under control.
A Suffolk County Council spokesman said this was a 'minor incident involving a gas cooker' and members of the National Grid were attending scene as a matter of precaution.
A rapid response vehicle and an ambulance crew from the East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust (EEAST) also attended the incident, at just after 10am, to treat a man who had suffered burns to his head and arms.
He was taken to James Paget University Hospital for further treatment but his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening or serious.
