Two people had to be released from their cars after a crash on Boundary Road in Norwich.
The crash happened just before 1pm today and fire crews from Earlham and Sprowston attended the scene.
Two vehicles were involved, and crews had to use hydraulic equipment to release two people.
An ambulance and a rapid response vehicle also attended the scene after reports of a head injury, but a spokesman said there were no serious injuries and the casualty was treated at the scene.
Fire crews returned to base by 1.40pm.
