Fire crews from as far as Fakenham were called to a report of a helicopter crash at Norwich Airport today.
Crews were called after a helicopter, which was heading towards North Denes, declared an emergency after the engine warning light came on.
The helicopter landed safely at Norwich Airport at 3.10pm.
Norfolk fire appliances from Wymondham, Hethersett, Fakenham, Earlham and Sprowston attended along with two water carriers, one Emergency Protection Unit and units of the Urban Search and Rescue Team.
