Anyone with an interest in Hunstanton Cliffs is invited to come along to a special drop-in session at Hunstanton Town Hall next Thursday.

The Environment Agency and West Norfolk council have been studying the causes and effects of erosion on the cliffs.

The drop-in session, which takes place between 2pm and 7pm, has been organised to give people an opportunity to find out more about the work.

EA project manager Nigel Woonton said: 'We are currently undertaking a management review of the eastern coastline of The Wash between Hunstanton Cliffs and Wolferton Creek.

'The review will identify a range of options to reduce cliff erosion, and the likely costs and impacts of these options.

'The review will also consider the long-term implications of cliff erosion.

'To be sure we base our review on the best available information, we are using the latest laser technology to improve our monitoring of the cliffs.

'This drop-in session is a chance for people to come and talk to us, find out about what we are currently doing and get involved in future decisions as the review continues.'
