Fakenham Choral Society's spring concert will consist of a complete performance of Haydn's popular oratorio The Creation accompanied by full orchestra.
This composition is regarded as Haydn's greatest masterpiece and is full of colourful and dramatic arias and stunning choruses.
The trio of soloists will be Rosamund Walton, soprano, Adam Tunnicliffe, tenor and Tom Appleton, bass, all of whom have delighted audiences in Fakenham in recent years. The concert will be at 7.30pm on Saturday, March 18 in Fakenham Parish Church. Tickets cost £12 (under 18s free of charge) and are available by calling 01485 544335 or at the door.
Fakenham Choral Society hosted Let's Sing!, a workshop singing day, in Fakenham Community Centre on February 11. More than 170 singers from all over the county and beyond took part,
A total £770 was raised for Tapping House on the day.
