Nwes, which has bases in Norwich, Great Yarmouth, King's Lynn and Lowestoft, has created a short film called The Elves and the Shoemaker, which is based on the 1806 fairy tale of the same name.
The advert tells the story of a poor shoemaker who is given help by elves about how to start his business.
Chief executive Kevin Horne said: 'The idea to produce a Christmas advert in line with the likes of John Lewis sounded like a terrific venture for the Nwes team. As a new opportunity for many of the staff, it was wonderful to offer a different experience.'
The Nwes team chose shoemaking as the theme as Norwich has a long history in the industry – dating back to 1792.
