Emergency services were called to the scene of a road traffic accident in Magdalen Way, Gorleston.

Two vehicles were involved in the incident, and one car had left the road and smashed into railing in front of a row of terrace houses.

The incident was reported at 10.30am today (Friday, August 4), and Norfolk Fire and Rescue crews from Gorleston and Great Yarmouth on the scene until 10.48am.

Three people were seen to by the ambulance service.

The fire service reported: 'Appliances from Great Yarmouth and Gorleston attended a road traffic collision on Magdalen Way. The crews assisted the ambulance, removed persons trapped and provided scene safety.'

Anglian Bus reported its 1044 61 service was running late due to the crash.

It announced on Twitter at 11.08am: 'The 1044 61 from Great Yarmouth is running 20 minutes late due to an RTA in Gorleston, please bear with us.'
