Emergency services were called to a crash between a car and a transit van on the north Norfolk coast this evening.
It happened at around 7.50pm on the A149 Cromer Road at West Runton.
A Norfolk Constabulary spokesman said the crash appeared to be a 'head-on collision' between a Suzuki car and a transit van.
The female driver of the car has been taken to hospital for treatment, and police remain on the scene to await recovery of the vehicles and to deal with oil spillage.
One fire crew from Sheringham also attended and made the vehicles safe.
