Emergency services rushed to Market Gates Shopping Centre in Yarmouth this afternoon after an elderly couple fell down an escalator.
Fire crews were called at 12.51pm to the town centre to reports that two people were stuck in one of the escalators.
But by the time they arrived at 12.57pm they had been freed.
An ambulance was also on the scene. The extent of any injuries is not yet clear, but they are not thought to be seriously hurt.
