An elderly pedestrian was taken to hospital earlier today (Tuesday) after being struck by a car in Dereham.
It happened at about 11.45am on Swaffham Road. Police and ambulance crews attended.
A spokesman for Norfolk Police said the woman had been taken to hospital 'for assessment' but had no information about any injuries.
The accident caused a build up of traffic through the centre of Dereham.
