More than 400 schools remain closed due to unsafe conditions

More than 400 schools closed on Wednesday due to heavy snow brought in by the Beast from the East.

Most cited dangerous driving conditions and unsafe journeys as the reason for the closure.

Schools closed in Norfolk today include:

Acle Academy (NR13 3ER) - Due to adverse weather conditions school will remain closed

Acle St Edmund C Of E Primary School (NR13 3RQ) - The school will remain closed today to ensure the safety of all children, staff and parents.

Acorn Park School (NR16 2HU) - Due to continuing poor travel conditions we will remain closed

Admirals Academy (IP24 2JT) - Closed due to the solid ice at school and treacherous travel conditions for staff, parents and children. All Aboard is also closed.
