A school has been awarded £42,000 towards the refurbishment of two science laboratories.
The Wolfson Foundation provided Thorpe St Andrew School and Sixth Form with the funding.
As well as upgrading two laboratories, the money will also be used to convert a prep room into a sixth form mentoring room.
Principal Ian Clayton said: 'We continuously strive to enhance the facilities at Thorpe St Andrew School and Sixth Form and this opportunity from the Wolfson Foundation means that all our Science Laboratories will be fully refurbished to match the aspirations of our students.'
Work is expected to begin during Easter.
