Young budding entrepreneurs are sharpening their business skills in the classroom and helping an animal charity at the same time.
Pupils at Ludham Primary School are taking part in two competitions to give them the opportunity to run their own businesses and make a profit to support the Dogs Trust.
The key stage two pupils are participating in Tycoon in Schools and Micro-Tyco contests.
The Tycoon in Schools business team is called Celtic Creations and the children are selling a range of stationery and Christmas tree baubles, decorated with Celtic knot designs, created by them.
Their strap line is: Celtic Creations, gifts knot to be missed!
The Micro-Tyco business team is called PomSEE and is making brightly coloured pom-poms.
The pom-poms, which are held by a swivel clasp and key ring, can be attached to pets' collars, clothing or bags, and make a bright and showy fashion accessory.
Their strap line is: PomSEE – Be a bright spark, be seen in the dark, with a PomSEE.
The businesses were launched at the school near Great Yarmouth on Friday.
Joanna Goodman, from Dogs Trust, visited to run workshops with each class on caring for dogs.
She also hosted a stand at the launch event to promote the work of Dogs Trust.
She said: 'I visited all of the classes to talk about caring for dogs, and stayed to help with the young tycoons launch fair.
'The children were wonderful, so polite, and a pleasure to work with.'
More than £100 was made in sales on the night, and many customer orders were taken.
Heather Delf, headteacher at Ludham Primary School, said: 'I'm a firm believer in giving children the chance to get involved in entrepreneurship and run their own business in school.
'It is fascinating to see how the children learn to recognise each other's strengths and capabilities and to solve problems together, through discussion and teamwork.'
Last year, a team from Ludham Primary School reached the national finals in the Tycoon in Schools competition, and won a trip to Buckingham Palace.
The youngsters met Peter Jones, CBE, founder of Tycoon in Schools and from Dragons' Den, and Prince Andrew, patron of the foundation.
