Youngsters at Wroughton Infant Academy in Gorleston will be all set for the new school year thanks to a donation of school starter packs.

The packs, which include backpacks, pencils, notebooks, rulers and reading books, were donated to children at the school by NatWest's midlands and east of England regional board ahead of the summer break-up.

The board is distributing packs to schools across the region as part of the bank's commitment to financial capability and inclusion.

They were delivered to the school by Yvonne Howard, NatWest personal banker, and Kate Jones, branch manager at NatWest Great Yarmouth and Gorleston and who said: 'The children in Reception and Year 1 were all really excited about the packs. I imagine the children may not be thinking about the new school year quite yet but I am sure they will all be put to use in September once school resumes.'
