With the news that there has been a big increase in the number of parents in our region fined for child absences from school, we are asking whether you support the crackdown.
One Norfolk parent has been fined a total of £360, parents in Cambridgeshire have been fined a total of £3,000 so far this academic year, and the number of fines in Suffolk has nearly quadrupled.
The increases follow the government's tightening of rules governing when parents can receive permission to take their children out of school.
