Pupils from Wells Primary and Nursery School have been named officially brilliant.
The eight pupils from year 5 and 6 successfully completed the Scholarship Programme of The Brilliant Club, a national scheme designed to motivate children to aspire to and attend university.
They all attended Cambridge University, worked with a professor from the University of East Anglia in university style tutorials, and completed a 1000-word essay before graduating at the UEA on Saturday.
During their graduation the youngsters were shown around the UEA campus and parents received information about university life, the types of courses on offer for their children and how to apply.
Wells Primary and Nursery School was the only school from North Norfolk taking part in this programme.
The scheme is aimed at more able Gifted and Talented pupils and was rated an incredible success.
Headteacher Alistair Ogle said: 'I am extremely proud of what the children have achieved. They are a credit to the school and their parents.
'They have worked incredibly hard and to see them receive their graduation certificates in front of hundreds of people was a very proud moment for all of us.
'I would like to thank Mrs Dowler and Mrs Kerkham for making this possible for our children.'
