Youngsters made a splash about water safety at an annual swimming event in Norwich.
About 130 pupils attended the Get Safe for Summer event at Riverside Leisure Centre on Wednesday.
The event, organised by Norwich City Council, saw a variety of water-based activities arranged by Broads Beat, Norfolk police's waterways team, the RNLI, the University of East Anglia City of Norwich Swimming Club and the council's sports development team.
They included safety exercises and games designed to equip young people with survival skills, ahead of visits to the coast and Broads this summer.
Martine Holden, the council's sport and leisure development manager, said: 'With so much local open water space we are delighted to have given more young people opportunity to learn vital skills needed to stay safe in and around water.'
Pupils attended from Edith Cavell Academy, Trowse Primary School, Magdalen Gates School, Catton Grove Primary School, George White Junior School, Heartsease Primary Academy, Colman Junior School, Norwich Primary Academy and Lionwood Junior School.
