An exhibition of artwork by high school students has been hailed as 'outstanding.'
Dozens of pieces went on show to proud parents, the wider public, and civic dignitaries including town mayor Kerry Robinson-Payne.
The exhibition showcased the creative output of Great Yarmouth High School students over two years as they worked towards their GCSEs.
A spokesman said: 'This was a fantastic opportunity for pupils and parents to come along and view the showcase of outstanding work by our current GCSE pupils. 'Furthermore for the first time members of the public were invited to attend this fabulous exhibition.
'The exhibition was an exciting visual collection of all our pupils' hard work over the two year duration.'
Students had been studying on separate photography and art GCSE courses looking at natural forms and drawing inspiration from the local surroundings, the beach and local artist Maggie Hambling from Suffolk.
They worked with clay and plaster, developing the idea of screen printing onto clay.
Other techniques included Batik and a variety of printing processes as well as standard drawing and painting.
The school has strong links with Time and Tide based Creative Collisions.
Headteacher, Louise Jackson, said: 'We are committed to ensuring our pupils have the opportunity to express themselves through the arts, and our staff work incredibly hard to ensure pupils achieve excellent results in art and photography at GCSE standard.
'We were proud to show our community the talent that our young people have demonstrated and their commitment to their studies.'
