Two schools in King's Lynn are feeling blooming marvellous after receiving free trees from bus company Stagecoach East.
As part of Green Week, the bus company gave away 50 trees to schools and organisations in Norfolk, Cambridgeshire and Bedfordshire, ranging from rowans, cherries and acers.
Dersingham VA School and Holly Meadows School received five trees each which were personally delivered by Stagecoach East managing director Andy Campbell.
Staff at the schools said the trees will encourage the children to learn about the environment.
Deputy headteacher of Holly Meadows School, Amy Harvey, added: 'We are enriching the curriculum to develop our outside learning.
'For the children in this rural area, the outside is a key part of their everyday lives. We recognize that, for most of them, their lives encompass the rural world and we want to mirror that in their school life.'
